NWE-REGENERATIS project
Revalorising brownfield sites!
Atrasol bvba is proud to participate in the NWE – REGENERATIS project.
The European project NWE – REGENERATIS (or “REGENERATIon and Rehabilitation of post-metallurgical sites through resource recovery”) is now launched. Developed within the framework of the European Interreg North-West Europe programme, this project concerns the recovery of materials and metals from former iron and steel sites, thus reducing their rehabilitation costs. Its final goal is the design and implementation of a new economic model, easy to apply by private and public companies, allowing the reintegration of raw materials and land into the regional economy.
NWE – REGENERATIS will continue until 2023 with a total budget of €7.10 million, of which €4.26 million is financed by European ERDF funds and co-financing from the Walloon Region.
